About me:
My name is Ms. Castillo. I am originally from Port Huron. I went to Central Michigan University. I obtained my Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education. I have a reading endorsement. Also, I have my Masters in the Art of Teaching with a reading emphasis from Saginaw Valley State University. I am currently working on my second Masters degree in Instructional Technology from Saginaw Valley. I also tutor dyslexic students at the Masonic Learning Center in Bay City. I have been a reading teacher, 3rd grade teacher, media teacher, and 2nd grade teacher in the district for the past 9 years. I am extremely pleased to be a 2nd grade teacher again this year. I firmly believe that all children can become successful and fulfill their academic and personal dreams with support. Our team includes the student, me, and you.
